I just got a mail from a friend TITLED –“FACTS TO MAKE EVERY INDIAN PROUD” well what an amazing mail. It just made me feel so proud to be an Indian. Well I always had this feeling in me but just a weird thought came in my head while I was reading the mail. HOW MANY OF US ARE EVEN AWARE OF THE MAGNIFICENT PAST ABOUT OUR OWN COUNTRY??? Well I am sure people are but one thing I am not sure is that how many people fall under this category of knowing our GLORIOUS PAST??
Well I fall under the category of youth or should I say “THE BRIGHT YOUTH OF THIS COUNTRY” and honestly when I see my generation all of us want to just run away from India and go abroad and get far far away from here and have a better standard of living and fashionable life styles etc, and the reason is well very easy to be answered by everyone – WHO WOULD WANT TO LIVE IN A POOR AND CORRUPT COUNTRY … INTERESTING isn’t it??? I mean we want to run away just because we don’t want to take the responsibility to make a difference in our own home THE actual place where we belong. We rather go out serve for others develop other people’s country and sit down in the evening with some friends and beer and criticize our very own MOTHER LAND brilliant isn’t it?? It’s like the line my history ma’am used to say every time –WE ALL WANT CLEAN HOMES BUT NOBODY WANTS TO DIRTY THERE CLOTHES IN THE PROCESS. But then why is it we are ready to dirty our clothes for other peoples houses?? Don’t you think that if WE were known as the “GOLDEN BIRD” once we can again get our title back... We were the ones who made India the richest country with our own potentials at one point of time then why not TODAY...
I am ready to dirty my clothes for a better tomorrow and YES I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN ARE YOU IS MY QUESTION???
